Executive Officers

G.S. Beckwith Gilbert

Executive ChairmAn

Mr. Gilbert has continued to serve as the Company’s Chairman of the Board since his election in 1997. Mr. Gilbert was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October of 1998 and served as such until his retirement from that post on February 1, 2003. Mr. Gilbert is President and Chief Executive Officer of Field Point Capital Management Company, a merchant-banking firm, a position he has held since 1988. Mr. Gilbert is also Chairman Emeritus and a member of the Board of Fellows of Harvard Medical School, a Director of the Yale Cancer Center, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Gilbert’s current service as Chairman of the Board of the Company and prior service as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, as well as his prior board and executive management experience, allow him to provide in-depth knowledge of the Company and other valuable insight and knowledge to the Board.

James T. Barry

President & CEO

Mr. Barry was named President and CEO of the Company in 2003. Since Mr. Barry joined the Company in 1998, he has held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Executive Vice President. Mr. Barry has also been a Director of the Company since 2000. From 1989 to 1998, he was with DIANON Systems, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to DIANON, Mr. Barry was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Tim Campbell


Mr. Campbell joined PASSUR in August 2017 as Executive Vice President of Innovation and Customer Advocacy and became Chief Operating Officer in October 2017. Mr. Campbell was most recently Senior Vice President, Air Operations for American Airlines Group where he led the effort to combine American’s Integrated Operations Control (IOC) and US Airways Operations Control Center (OCC). The integration work also included flight and inflight teams, crew resources, operations planning and performance engineering functions. Before joining American Airlines, he was Founder and President of Mountain Vista Consulting, LLC. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Campbell was president of Compass Airlines, a wholly-owned regional airline for Northwest Airlines and later Delta Air Lines. He holds as BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Seattle.

Louis J. Petrucelly

Senior Vice president, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Petrucelly was named Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of the Company in October 2016. Mr. Petrucelly has more than 15 years of experience in multi-dimensional corporate finance, operations, and accounting. Previously, Mr. Petrucelly spent almost ten years at FalconStor Software, Inc., a leading software-defined storage data services company, serving most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since August 2012. Mr. Petrucelly joined FalconStor Software, Inc. in March 2007 and held several senior financial positions. Prior to FalconStor Software, Inc., Mr. Petrucelly spent time in senior financial positions at both Granite Broadcasting Corporation and PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. He began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP. In 2013, Mr. Petrucelly was named one of the “40 Under 40” by Long Island Business News in recognition of his leadership and accomplishments. Mr. Petrucelly received his B.S. from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University.

Management Team

Renee Alter

Vice President, Airports

Ms. Alter was named Vice President on November 29, 2011. She joined the company in May 2005 and served as a Regional Sales Director. She has over 20 years of aviation experience. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Alter served as the Environmental Manager at the Westchester County Airport from 1999-2005. During that time, she successfully led the airport through the development and implementation of an Environmental Management System certified to the ISO 14001 Standard. She also holds a commercial pilot license.

David Brukman

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Brukman joined PASSUR Aerospace as the Chief Technology Officer in April 2015. Previously, Mr. Brukman has worked at Bloomberg LP’s R&D Division. Mr. Brukman served as head of technology for Interactive Data Real-Time Services, Standard & Poor’s ComStock, and ADC NewNet. Previously he was at Bedford Associates (a division of British Airways). Mr. Brukman has specialized in high-volume, resilient, low-latency systems in telecommunications and capital market industries. He holds a BA and MS in Computer Science, as well as several patents in mobile messaging.

L. Tim Cinello

Vice President, Airline Sales

Mr. Cinello was named Vice President of Airline Sales in October 2012. He joined the company on June 30, 2003 and served as Director of Sales. Prior to joining the company Mr. Cinello served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at Trip.com from 2000-2002. He began his career in aviation with American Airlines as a station operations agent and served in various sales, and management positions with American and Sabre from 1983-2000.

James Cole

Senior Vice President and Director of Research and Development

Dr. Cole currently serves as Senior Vice President and Director of Research and Development of the company. He earned a Ph.D. in physics from Johns Hopkins University in 1966. He is a current member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Physics Society, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and IEEE Computer Society. Dr. Cole has been with the company since 1974.

William A. Cranor Jr.

Vice President, Customer Operational Advocacy

Mr. Cranor joined PASSUR in May of 2017 as VP Customer Advocacy after retiring from United Airlines as Managing Director Air Traffic & Meteorology, with responsibilities in network ATC coordination, airport airfield construction, ramp control and weatherforecasting within the Network Operations Division. He has 30 years of airline operations experience in dispatch, airspace design, meteorology and management. He previously held leadership positions including redesigning and implementing best practices for ATC coordination and weather mitigation as Director ATC & Meteorology at JetBlue, Director of Continental’s flagship expanded ramp control at the EWR hub and ATC delay reduction efforts in the Eastern US and the North Atlantic regions and as a Manager at US Airways in a similar capacity. He developed the original airline operations liaison position working in the ATCSCC and led that team for the Air Transport Association (now A4A) and he was responsible for International ATM, aviation safety and security for the Americas/North Atlantic regions at the International Air Transport Association. He is a founding member and leader of Collaborative Decision-Making work groups and Industry lead 2013-2016. He was a member and lead in several airspace redesign activities. He was also a former officer in the Airline Dispatch Federation and co-led the effort for the “Single Level of Safety” and resulting regulation changes. Prior to starting his aviation career, he was in law enforcement, security and investigations and holds current state issued credentials.

Ron Dunsky

Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Mr. Dunsky was named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in August 2014. Previously Mr. Dunsky was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Airports and Corporate Aviation. Mr. Dunsky joined PASSUR Aerospace in February 2001, as Director of Marketing and New Product Development. Prior to joining PASSUR Aerospace, Mr. Dunsky was Senior Editor with the New York bureau of ABCNews.com, with a focus on aviation content; and a Senior Producer at CNN (New York Bureau), with special responsibilities for shaping and managing the network’s coverage of the aviation industry. He began his career as creative director for one of the pioneering social marketing firms, Manifest Communications of Toronto, Canada.

Timothy A. Grovac

Vice President of information technology

Mr. Grovac was named Vice President of Information Technology in June of 2013. He joined the Company in 2009 as the Director of Information Technology.  Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Grovac spent 33 years in government service with the FAA, 15 of which was spent at the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC) where he held multiple management positions including National Operations Manager and Automation Manager. He personally wrote the first National Ground Delay Program (SCDT) in 1986 and later conceived and implemented the General Aviation Airport Program (GAAP).

David M. Henderson

Chief PRODUCT Officer

Mr. Henderson was named Chief Product Officer in October 2016. He joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in June 2015. Previously Mr. Henderson spent four years as Chief Financial Officer at HealthPlanOne, a technology-enabled marketing and member acquisition company serving the healthcare industry. Prior to that he was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at Open Solutions, an enterprise software company that sells into the financial institution market. He was previously the Director of Product Management at Palm and AnyDay and began his professional career in the financial services industry at The Carlyle Group and Dillon Read. He holds a BA from Yale University in History and Economics.

Douglas Hofsass


Mr. Hofsass joined PASSUR in 2017 as Senior Vice President Airports and Business Aviation. He has 25 years of leadership experience in airport & airline operations, sales & customer service and industry engagement. He most recently held executive positions at BBA Aviation, as Vice President, Aviation/Regulatory Affairs & Contract Administration as well as Vice President of Operations Planning with Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG). Prior to BBA Aviation, Mr. Hofsass held several federal executive positions at the US Department of Homeland Security – TSA, including Assistant Administrator of Risk Based Security, Deputy Assistant Administrator of Security Policy & Industry Engagement and General Manager of Commercial Aviation. During his time at headquarters, he served as DHS-TSA’s principal executive liaison for commercial aviation operators and commercial aviation associations nationwide. Prior to his leadership roles at headquarters he served as the Federal Security Director for DHS-TSA in New York City for several years. Before joining DHS, he worked for United Airlines for nearly 10 years and held a number of operational, sales and field leadership positions, where he focused on airport operations performance and service delivery. Mr. Hofsass has been recognized for building strategic partnerships and developing collaborative solutions across the aviation community in both the private and public sector. He has a deep knowledge of PASSUR because each of the previous organizations he worked for were PASSUR customers.

Ilhan Ince


Mr. Ince joined PASSUR as the VP of Business Intelligence and Analytics in December 2017. Previously, Mr. Ince was the Managing Director of the American Airlines Operations Planning and Performance team, responsible for operations planning and analysis including operational goals development, improved performance and operating efficiency through strategic planning, big data analytics, process re-engineering and decision support system implementation. His first transportation industry position was with US Airways Operations Research team developing schedule optimization software. He has since worked on many aspects of airline operations and network optimization including block planning, robust schedule development and operations recovery. Prior to joining US Airways Mr. Ince worked in the aerospace industry developing mission planning and control systems for remotely controlled ground and air vehicles. He holds a B.S. with honors and Masters of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.

Robert H. Junge

Vice President, Airport Solutions

Mr. Junge joined the company as Vice President, Airport Solutions & Product Management in August 2014 after a 31-year professional career with the Aviation Department of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He was JFK’s Manager of Airport Operations overseeing overall airside, landside & security responsibilities starting in February 2005, culminating in his appointment as JFK’s Deputy General Manager. During this period Bob played a key role in planning for, and overseeing, the successful Bay Runway Rehabilitation Project, which severely impacted JFK’s capacity during re-constructionof the airport’s longest runway. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Howie King

Vice President, Customer Account Management

Mr. King brings more than 25 years of experience managing large-scale implementation programs in the aerospace industry. His focus areas include air traffic management optimization, airport and airline operations optimization, large program design and implementation, and the deployment of surface management/multilateration systems. With former work experience at SAAB Sensis, Lockheed Martin, as well as General Electric, Mr. King joined PASSUR Aerospace in 2014. He is a graduate of Columbia College.

Willliam S. Leber, Jr.


Mr. Leber joined the company as Vice President, Air Traffic Innovations in February 2012. He was formerly a Research Analyst Principal and Senior Manager for Lockheed Martin in their Collaborative ATM Practice. As an airline operations expert, he has been a participant and leader in Collaborative Decision Making development since the early 1990’s. He was a Chief Flight Dispatcher and worked for Northwest Airlines and Delta Airlines for 26 years. He is a member of the FAA’s REDAC – NAS Operations Subcommittee where he was Co-Chair of the Weather – ATM Integration Work Group. Mr. Leber is a former Chair of the CDM Future Concepts WG and a former Co-Chair of ATA’s overall CDM effort. He is also the former President and Co-founder of the Airline Dispatchers Federation, a non-union professional association.

Christopher W. Maccarone

Vice President, Financial and Performance Analysis

Mr. Maccarone joined the company in November 2010. With 18 years of experience at Northwest Airlines, Mr. Maccarone brings a wealth of airline finance and operations experience to his role as Vice President, Financial and Performance Analysis.  He served in a variety of leadership roles at Northwest, including Managing Director, Performance Analysis at the airlines’ System Operations Control Center. He also worked in flight simulator operations, flight safety, pilot contract administration, operations analysis, aircraft performance engineering, fuel conservation, international alliances, and financial planning and analysis.

Matthew H. Marcella

SENIOR Vice President, Software Development

Mr. Marcella was named Vice President of Software Development on January 15, 2003. He joined the company in 2001 from Cityspree Inc., where he served as lead software architect from 2000 to 2001. From 1999 to 2000, he was a Vice President at Deutsche Bank and Nomura Securities. From 1996 to 1999, he was a technical officer at UBS Securities.

Leo Prusak

Vice President, Air Traffic Management Products and Strategy

Mr. Prusak joined the company in October 2015 and is responsible for the leadership and growth of PASSUR’s Air Traffic Management Products and Solutions. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Prusak spent 33 years in government service with the FAA at the Air Traffic Control System Command Center and multiple field facilities including JFK, LGA, EWR and TEB Control Towers and the NY TRACON. Mr. Prusak held multiple leadership positions including Deputy Director of System Operations, Manager of Tactical Operations, and District Manager amongst others. He has extensive experience in air traffic control and air traffic management that spans operational, technical, and leadership domains and is expert with highly technical and evolving knowledge and concepts. Mr. Prusak developed a data science lab to extract and interpret big data sourced by air traffic control, air traffic management, and weather programs for the purpose of converging strategic, tactical, and results data into transformational operational strategies and programs.

Dan Smiley

Senior Vice President, Global ATM

Mr. Smiley joined the company as Senior Vice President, Global ATM in May 2017. Previously, Mr. Smiley served as Vice President, System Operations for the Federal Aviation Administration. In this capacity, he directed the functions of daily air traffic flow management, operations security, surface flow management, flight service stations, data and performance analysis, and international operations for the Air Traffic Organization. He has over 37 years of service in government and has performed various duties including Deputy VP, System Operations, Director of Surface Flow Management, Program Manager for CANSO Operations Standing Committee, Sr. Advisor NextGen-International, Manager of the Air Traffic Control System Command Center and 15 years as an air traffic controller. Mr. Smiley also served as a shipboard radar-man and air controller in the U.S. Navy, Pacific fleet.

Thomas White

Executive Vice President, PRODUCT AND Operations

Mr. White was named Executive Vice President of Operations on May 4, 2012. He joined the Company in 2007 as a consultant and in 2008 became an employee and the Director of Air Traffic Management. He was promoted to Vice President of Air Traffic Management in 2010 and Senior Vice President of Technology in 2011. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. White spent 32 years in government service with the FAA and the U.S. Military. Between 2002 and 2007 he was a Senior Manager for the FAA in New York. Before the FAA, he was also a U.S. Army Special Ops helicopter pilot serving with Task Force 160th.

Keith D. Wichman

Senior vice president, Global airlines

Mr. Wichman joined the company in 2012 and leads all commercial lines of business at PASSUR (including Airlines and Airport businesses). He has P&L responsibility and oversees sales, training, customer service, business development, and product management. Previously, he served at GE Aviation for 14 years as a technical expert and business leader for avionics, airline operations, and Air Traffic Management.  He was Chief Engineer of GE’s Flight Management Systems product line and Director of ATM and Airline Efficiency Services.  Before this, Mr. Wichman served 13 years as  a lead Flight Controls and Handling Qualities researcher at NASA-Dryden Flight Research Center in California, followed by 3 years at Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Massachusetts.  He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and the University of Michigan respectively.  Mr. Wichman is  an instrument Rated Commercial Pilot and held a Flight Instructor Certificate for 10 years.
