Sales Director - West Coast

PASSUR Aerospace has a new opening for a West Coast Sales Director, ideally based in Los Angeles.  

Position Description

As a PASSUR Aerospace Sales Director, you will lead the company’s sales efforts on the West Coast.
Specific responsibilities include:

  • Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Build and maintain new & existing customer relationships by understanding the customer’s business and aviation information needs, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning PASSUR products and services to customer requirements
  • Build a weekly/monthly pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments
  • Effectively present/demonstrate PASSUR solutions for both technical and executive audiences ranging from end users to senior executives
  • Effectively manage ongoing projects/opportunities between PASSUR sales resources and the appropriate customers' or prospects' executive teams
  • Work with product marketing to prepare and present PASSUR solutions including product configurations and pricing
  • Participate in seminars, trade shows, and other sales/marketing activities in order to promote awareness of PASSUR and its products/services

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years of successful direct, field enterprise solution selling experience to firms in the aviation industry
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Both detail-oriented and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high reward environment
  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Ability to grasp new selling techniques and technologies
  • Strong PC skills, including use of Internet and Microsoft applications (e.g. MS Office)
  • BS or BA undergraduate college degree
  • Home base in Los Angeles is ideal
